SparkLab at the Queensland Museum is an interactive, science, technology, engineering and maths space, aimed at children aged 6-13 years. Putting the fun back into science, children can discover over 40 interactive exhibits across three fun-filled zones. At the lab, kids can, quite literally, see giant sparks of electricity generating in a glass globe, observe magnetic liquid and witness live scientific experiments. If these aren’t enough mind-blowing activities for you, you can also enter Science on a Sphere, from which you can watch clouds move across the world in real time, spot how a cyclone starts to form and circle the sun.
